There will be an amateur radio technician license class for all interested people at the American Legion Post 113 facility. The class will be an 18 hour course presented over several days. The days for this course offering are:
May 28
May 30
June 5
June 6
June 7
June 11
June 13 TEST DAY

The class sessions begin at 7:00 PM each evening at the Veterans Memorial Building located at22 W. Broadway Ave, Meridian, ID 83642. It would have been better if the class sessions could have been scheduled on regular basis rather than the gerrymandered calendar presented, but appreciate that there are many organizations that meet at the Post throughout the month making consistent class days impossible.

You will need to get the "ARRL Ham Radio License Manual" fourth edition either from the ARRL or RJM Electronics in Boise. Please note this is a full class, not a "quickie" course.

Please also understand that you will need to do independent study to pass the Amateur Radio License exam on the 13th. All the material will be presented, but you will need to invest the time to learn the subject matter. The class will be taught by me and Joel Talbot. Both of us are ARRL instructors and both have amateur Extra Class licenses.
